A Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA) has been formed by a group of energy companies and consumers concerned about the possibility of electricity price spikes and electrical system disruption this summer. A not-for-profit organization, PLMA’s goal is to increase consumer participation in electric load management is two-fold: to achieve a better competitive energy market, and to achieve a more reliable electrical system.
