Pennsylvania receives $14M in counter-terrorism task force funds

June 25, 2003—Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Director David M. Sanko has announced that Pennsylvania’s nine Regional Counter-Terrorism Task Forces (RCTTF) will receive more than $14 million in counter-terrorism grant money from the federal Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP).

The funding will be used to help first responders throughout the state deal with incidents of terrorism involving weapons of mass destruction.
