August 30, 2002—Pacific Gas and Electric Company has begun its 2002 Express Efficiency Summer Rebate Sale. The three-month ‘Summer Sale’ is specifically for small and medium sized business, tax exempt and non-profit customers—including mini-marts, individually owned franchises, churches, libraries and school districts.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company has approximately $7 million in rebates for energy efficiency products including lighting, air conditioners, dairy pumps, refrigeration equipment and motors. During the “Summer Sale,” eligible customers throughout Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s service area can earn up to four times the original rebate amount on selected items.
There are 40 different energy efficient products available to qualifying business and non-profit customers. During the three-month sale, which runs from July 15th-October 15th, customers will receive double, and quadruple rebates on some selected equipment from Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
