PG&E seeks permission to pass $2.2 billion energy losses to customers

Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) is losing as much $1 million an hour because wholesale energy costs are skyrocketing, according to a report from The Associated Press. Faced with such massive amounts of money and in need of relief, PG&E recently sought permission from state regulators to eventually pass $2.2 billion in losses onto its customers.
