Pitney Bowes to provide Justice Department’s mail and document management solutions

July 11, 2003—Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS) has signed an outsourcing contract valued at $18 million dollars to provide the US Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Executive Office, Environmental and Natural Resource Division with high volume mail and document management solutions for up to five years. Among the key legal document management services provided to the Washington, DC, and Colorado locations are mail, courier, centralized reprographics, fleet management, records management, and imaging.

PBMS will introduce Pitney Bowes on the Desk, an integrated Web-portal tool that provides information on PBMS services and a vehicle for end-users to communicate with PBMS service centers or Document Solution Centers. In addition, PBMS will use its Arrival Track and Trace solution to record and manage package delivery throughout the organization.
