Planon FM software to be used in UAE Hyatt

April 7, 2003—Hyatt International recently purchased Planon FM software to maintain and manage their fixed asset register for the prestigious new Grand Hyatt Dubai in the UAE. The Hotel, which opens in Spring 2003, has 674 Guest Rooms and 186 Residence Apartments and will be one of the Middle East’s grandest and most lavish resorts, says Planon. The software will be used to hold and update the asset register for the entire building complex using bar coding technology to physically verify asset location details. This new project marks the expansion of European FM software house Planon International outside of Europe.
