March 22, 2002—Partitions manufacturers Associates (PMA) Inc, based in Quebec, has been awarded a contract to install its Starwall Evolution movable wall in more than six hundred offices at the new head offices of the Caisse de Depots et Placement du Quebec in Montreal. The contract is the largest for movable partitions in Canada.
The Starwall partition was chosen because of its flexibility and affordability, said a company release. The movable walls are made with an aluminum frame, high acoustic properties, and unlimited choice of wood panels, aluminum finishes, wood doors, glass doors, and sliding doors. Power, data, and voice cables run horizontally and vertically in the partition, and the walls do not need to be disassembled for changing a panel.
The Starwall Evolution movable wall is also 100 percent recyclable.
