Datastream Systems’ iProcure and MP2 products have been selected by Polaris Industries to manage and maintain critical assets in all of its plants throughout the Midwestern US. Polaris Industries, a manufacturer of recreational and utility vehicles, is integrating Datastream’s iProcure and MP2 into its asset management program dedicated to manufacturing production quality, indirect cost reduction, and automation of routine purchasing processes. Datastream Systems provides asset lifecycle management software and services that help companies maximize the return on investment in capital assets.
By using Datastream’s iProcure and MP2 software, Polaris will standardize maintenance management and purchasing processes throughout all plants, contributing to overall production efficiency and inventory collaboration. The iProcure marketplace will substantially strengthen Polaris’ secondary cost reduction strategy by streamlining indirect procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations parts and supplies. Polaris claims that it is now able to quickly connect to its preferred network of suppliers to order production critical parts and supplies as well as eliminate inefficiencies in invoice practices. Polaris expects to have iProcure and MP2 on-line in the third quarter of this year.
