Polyflor Supratec, a safety floor by Bonar Floors, has a soil-releasing polymer system that eliminates the need for harsh cleaning chemicals. Distributed by Bonar Floors in the US, the environmentally friendly Supratec features a new system developed in partnership with DuPont that allows it to be quickly mopped clean using non-toxic solvents. The soil-releasing polymer system means that Plyflor Supratec can be cleaned at less than half the cost of conventional safety floors, without compromising the slip resistance, durability, and other performance benefits of a safety floor.
There are two patterns, Astral and Design. Astral is offered in 12 colors, each enhanced by coordinating colored flakes. Design has a “sparkly” quality. Both contain Polyflor’s Bioguard bacteriostat for enhanced hygiene protection. Sheet vinyls can be welded at the seams and covered to create continuous, impervious floors that do not harbor dirt or bacteria.
