Ideal for tenant sub-billing or cost allocation applications in commercial environments, the system uses a network of ION 6100 wireless energy meters to monitor energy usage throughout large multi-story buildings, and automatically relay the readings by radio signal to a central data server. Providing time-stamped, interval-based consumption data and coincident demand readings accurate to the ANSI C12.16 Class 1 standard, the ION 6100 wireless energy metering system lowers overall installed costs by avoiding the need to lay communications wire and the associated conduit throughout a facility.
When used alongside Power Measurement’s ION EEM software, the ION 6100 becomes part of a complete enterprise energy management system that can help facility managers to control the cost, quality and reliability of their power. The ION 6100 system includes:
