July 16, 2001—Power Measurement Ltd., a provider of enterprise energy management systems, has formed a strategic marketing alliance with E2MS Inc., a provider of energy and environmental management software, which enables Power Measurement to integrate components of E2MS’s ECAM energy cost management software into its own ION energy management software applications. The combined solution is designed to help energy consumers in regulated and deregulated markets to make informed, cost-effective energy management decisions.
The ECAM system is a modular, scalable system that can be configured to meet the energy management needs of a broad range of end users in commercial, industrial and institutional settings. Its five modules build on the features of all of the previous modules, and are Windows-based so migration from one module to the next is a straightforward process for system users.
The ION Web-ready software and intelligent electronic devices comprise a complete real-time information and control network that supports billing for complex energy contracts and helps improve power quality, reduce energy costs, and keep operations running enterprise-wide twenty-four hours a day.
