August 27, 2004—The latest version of the PowerLogic System Manager Software (SMS) from Square D/Schneider Electric’s Power Management Operation features an entirely redesigned and more intuitive user interface, and includes standard Web-enabled capabilities for each member of the SMS product family.
Since SMS Version 4.0 features Web-enabled capabilities as a standard part of the product offer, users can access it from anyplace where they have security clearance and access to the company’s intranet.
SMS Version 4.0 also features an enhanced interface that allows users to simply select tabs at the top of the page to review energy consumption trends, power quality system health, graphical diagrams showing state of power sources, and more. This new interface also separates system set-up features from the features users need access to everyday so the concern about inadvertently changing settings is virtually eliminated.
