March 18, 2005—Prairie Systems, Inc., a leading specialist in voice services and Internet messaging, has released the 2005 upgrade of its critical communications product. New features include an improved user interface, allowing intuitive application access from a secure, Web-based control panel, and improved answering machine detection to ensure successful delivery of critical messages, the company says.
Organizations both large and small need to easily and quickly deliver voice messages to pre-defined and customized calling lists—on the fly, with special information as needed, the company notes. The system offers Interactive Voice Broadcast (IVB) with a number of features for optimizing group outreach and message customization. Messages are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, to the numbers selected by end-users. Thousands of simultaneous contacts can be made.
An authorized user or administrator initiates the communications online, from a secure, Web-based control panel, the company says.
Messages are delivered via advanced text-to-speech capabilities, with user-selectable voice to end-user defined contact information. The system includes the ability to connect end-users to a voice bridge for an on-demand conference call. An online management reporting screen displays who has been reached, who has not, and the progress of contact attempts.
