On June 13, 2001, President Bush announced his intention to nominate two individuals to serve in his administration in areas of interest to FMs. The President intends to nominate Daniel R. Levinson to be Inspector General for the General Services Administration. Mr. Levinson served most recently as Principal of the Law Offices of Daniel R. Levinson, and has also served as Chief of Staff and Counsel to Congressman Bob Barr of Georgia, Chairman of the US Merit Systems Protection Board, and General Counsel to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, among other positions.
The President also intends to nominate John Lester Henshaw to be Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health. Mr. Henshaw is presently the Director of Environment, Safety and Health for Astaris; and was previously the Director of Environment, Safety and Health for Solutia; Corporate Industrial Hygiene Director for Monsanto Company; and a Bio-Environmental Engineer in the Air National Guard.
