June 4, 2004—Presidion Solutions, a provider of human resources management services to small and mid-sized companies, has earned a Best Practices certification from The Certification Institute for its Workers’ Compensation Risk Management program. The certification provides independent verification that a PEO’s risk management program meets proven insurance industry risk management best practices to reduce workplace accidents and health exposures and to control workers’ compensation insurance losses.
Presidion also announced that it has renewed its workers’ compensation insurance program with First Commercial Insurance Company. This renewal marks the fourth year of Presidion’s relationship with First Commercial, one of the largest workers’ compensation insurers in the state of Florida.
The PEO workers’ compensation certification program is managed by The Certification Institute comprised of representatives of insurance companies and PEO industry leaders, which relies on an industry advisory board for technical review and advice. The certification was developed through the cooperative efforts of workers’ compensation insurance companies and PEO industry risk managers and insurance brokers with the support of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) and the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC).
