Meridian Project Systems, an ASP and software provider for the commercial construction industry, won the AGC Shootout held in St. Louis, Mo., last month with ProjectTalk.com. The Shootouts are live competitions hosted by AGC (Associated General Contractors of America) to determine the strengths and weaknesses of competing online construction tools.
AGC hosts these Shootouts to help its members determine which tool is best for their projects. The organization invites Internet-related solution providers to present their tools to the industry. The Shootout tabulations rate responses that cover basic information including pricing and features, as well as presentations and question-and-answer sessions. The St. Louis Shootout is the fourth competition; the previous Shootouts were held in Houston, Dallas and Fort Lauderdale in late 2000.
