PropertyTrak releases Web-based FM tool

August 22, 2007—PropertyTrak, a software development company, announces the formal release of its Web-based facilities management tool, also know as PropertyTrak. The software had been initially released in January 2007.

The product enables managers of large or small business facilities to bring the maintenance process within their office into a coordinated and integrated system, says the company. PropertyTrak allows facilities manager to receive service requests from anyone in the enterprise, so maintenance assistance is dispatched quickly.

Service requests can easily be shipped to the facilities manager utilizing the easy-to-use service request entry screen, and multiple service requests can be lumped into a single work order. The work order is then released to the maintenance resource either employee or vendor — by way of email, cell phone or pager. When the call is complete, the support person can then relay the information back to the facilities manager to indicate that the issue is resolved.

PropertyTrak allows users to set up an unlimited number of locations within an unlimited number of companies and divisions, the company says. Equipment items can also be created and associated with properties, simplifying maintenance and long-term support.

The product is made available to clients over the Internet at an affordable monthly rate, according to PropertyTrak, and much less expensive than the cost associated with shrink-wrapped solutions.

PropertyTrak is a sister company of Multi Service, an organization that processes specialty credit cards for the energy and transportation industry. For more information, visit the PropertyTrak Web site.
