The Lithium Ion battery technology that powers the GoVac backpack is the result of years of engineering and testing, says ProTeam. As a result, continuous runtime averages 50 minutes—reportedly more than double that of the competition. The motor features an automatic shutoff system to ensure the machine always cleans at its optimal level. Full battery recharge time is three hours, keeping downtime to a minimum.

Areas lacking outlets, such as stairwells and elevators, can now be cleaned more effectively than with dust mops. Dayporters can be more unobtrusive in high-traffic areas like hotel lobbies and offices. Wrangling with cords around retail display racks and industrial machinery can be a thing of the past.
