December 15, 2003—Puget Sound Energy (PSE), Washington state’s largest energy utility, has licensed eQuorum Corporation’s ImageSite, a Web-based engineering document management system, for its engineering document management and collaboration needs. ImageSite’s centralized online document repository gives PSE users the ability to get rapid, simultaneous access to critical business and engineering documents and CAD drawings.
PSE will use ImageSite to organize, store, and manage hundreds of thousands of engineering and CAD drawings and other business documents. Engineers can use ImageSite for the check-in, check-out, and revision control of active AutoCAD and Microstation drawings. Since ImageSite is CAD neutral, it offers the same document-management capabilities for both CAD packages. ImageSite lets users store all project documents together, including the as-built and original CAD drawings, and other digital supporting documents.
