Purifan Clean Air Wellness System now installed in more than 40 schools

March 10, 2008—Purifan, Inc. has announced that 20 additional schools in Oklahoma, California, Iowa, Texas, Illinois, New Jersey and Kansas have installed the Purifan Clean Air Wellness System.

Since Purifan started marketing to schools in 2005, more than 40 school districts have installed Purifans in classrooms. Purifan’s CEO, Stan Brannan, also announced a significant number of school Superintendents are considering installing Purifans in classrooms to improve student and teacher wellness, increase attendance and raise student test scores.

The Purifan Clean Air Wellness System typically filters classroom air about forty times per hour, removing airborne particles, allergens and odors. Studies have also indicated this level of air filtration can reduce the airborne spread of contagious illness including colds and flu, according to the company.

Purifan is a patented, ceiling-mounted air purifier. Purifans do not add ions or ozone to the air. Over 35,000 Purifan Clean Air Systems have been installed by local dealers in schools, daycares, offices, bars, nursing homes, restaurants and homes. For more information, see the Web site.
