A new web-based service, pushbuttonquote.com allows companies to provide quotations for their FM products and services online. Pushbuttonquote takes product and service data in common spreadsheet and database formats—like Excel or Access—and makes it available on the web for customers and in-house salespeople to use. Companies can generate quotations using the Internet with automatic email confirmations to the supplier and customer. The new service aims to bring time and cost savings to industry professionals like facilities managers, architects and interior designers.
Pushbuttonquote also supplies a “button” which can be placed on companies existing Web sites, which links seamlessly to their new quotation facility.
Quotations generated can be fully priced or listed for later negotiation. The service can be public or private—protected by password—to closed user groups such as wholesalers, retailers, and distributors. Pictures, brochures, CAD drawings and data sheets can be delivered on demand.
