July 21, 2004—Quality Attributes’ new Facilities Archive is an Internet-based document management system that will allow FMs to securely and easily store, organize, and retrieve any and all digital files related to their facilities.
Facilities Archive solves the common problem of lost, damaged, and difficult-to-locate documents, including blueprints and building layouts. The system provides unmatched accessibility by storing these documents electronically and allowing authorized users to access them from anywhere, at anytime via the Internet.
The software also offers increased organization with a familiar Windows look and feel. The robust Administration File Manager portion of Facilities Archive allows FMs to group files according to blueprint, building, or drawing type; manage drawing revisions; and add, delete, rename, or move files as necessary.
For contractors, facilities staff, or anyone else requiring access to the files, the intuitive, easy-to-use Web-based interface of the Public File Navigator makes locating, viewing, and downloading files simple. Documents can be publicly accessible or made secure through the use of password-protected files and/or user accounts.
