November 26, 2001—Quovadx Inc., a Colorado-based provider of total business integration software and services, was recently awarded the enterprise-wide information facilities management contract by The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). The five-year contract is for a fixed annual fee of $11.9 million per year with additional fees for services of up to $3 million annually. Under it, Quovadx will be responsible for managing and overseeing all of MUSC’s computing, network, software development, hardware, IS resources, and applications. Quovadx will also provide on-campus and remote computing services for both MUSC’s University and the Medical Center, as well as manage the entire campus telecommunications network.
