July 11, 2003—IDEAL.com recently announced that RasterID automatic indexing software and WiseImage raster editing software are now compatible with the HP Designjet 4200 scanner. IDEAL is the exclusive North American distributor for RasterID and WiseImage, which are developed by Consistent Software.
Use RasterID to automatically extract title block information, from drawings scanned with the HP Designjet 4200 Scanner, to an archiving database such as Microsoft Access. The drawings scanned with the HP Designjet 4200 can then be edited with WiseImage software, which treats raster objects like vector objects. RasterID and WiseImage not only work with the IDEAL/Contex large format scanners, but these software packages are compatible with the HP Designjet 4200 Scanner to help the architectural, engineering, and construction community scan, index, and edit large format drawings quickly and easily.
