January 22, 2007—RCAI, a world leader in environmentally friendly industrial chemical release agents, announces that its Alderox products meet the requirements set forth by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) for use in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental design) certified construction projects and buildings.
The announcement states that because the Alderox product line meets the LEED requirements their use in construction projects will count toward those projects becoming LEED certified. The LEED rating system is based on points earned for a variety of criteria such as building practices and techniques, materials used and building operation. The Alderox product line meets the LEED requirements for recycled content and rapidly renewable materials.
