October 1, 2001—With flat panel monitors ready to change the office landscape, Humanscale has designed an adjustable support that takes up less desk space and frees space behind the monitor while keeping the monitor screen the same distance from the user as the old CRT screen. But to make that behind-the-screen space usable, Humanscale has introduced the M5 monitor arm that allows users to position the monitor easily for work and then effortless move it out of the way to clear desk space. In a variety of styles and configurations and composed of die-cast aluminum and steel, M5 will allow maximum adjustability without need for locks, knobs, or user training.
