December 4, 2002—In a new partnership, RealityWave will embed Spicer Corporation’s document viewing, markup, editing, and scanning software into its VizStream technology platform, which integrates industrial data for enterprise collaboration. The combined solution offers a single, collaborative universal viewing tool to share 2D and 3D information with employees and globally dispersed business partners.
Spicer technology will enhance VizStream’s extensive 3D CAD model visualization and collaboration capabilities by adding universal viewing for virtually any 2D document, including CAD, vector, raster, and office formats. With embedded Spicer technology, VizStream now provides a complete 2D/3D, Web-enabled visualization solution for industrial data within enterprise applications.
RealityWave says that VizStream is currently used throughout the world to enable access and use of iIndustrial data, regardless of user, data location, or network connection. Applications range from Electronic Content Management (ECM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
