August 17, 2001—REON Broadband Corp. has introduced its Smart Buildings listing service, a Web-based feature that helps businesses in New England find office space that is already wired with high-speed broadband connectivity.
The new online site, entitled Smartlistings.net is designed to let property owners list their buildings for potential tenants to easily search REON’s catalogue of “lit” buildings that offer the company’s array of broadband services, including Internet access, Web hosting and e-mail, and network security. REON currently has its broadband infrastructure in 120 commercial office buildings in 58 communities throughout New England.
REON, (“Real Estate on the Net”) invests in rewiring properties with a gigabit Ethernet wiring system capable of delivering advanced communication services, at no cost to the property owner.
