June 28, 2002—REsolve Technology, a company that provides business intelligence tools and services designed for the commercial real estate industry, has added new functionality—data extraction capability from JD Edwards software—to its REquest software product. According to REquest, JD Edwards software is used extensively by the commercial real estate industry.
REquest extracts data from various core applications (such as DYNA, Argus, and CTI software) and presents a unified view in a series of Internet-based reports, enabling their commercial real estate customers to see, gather, and distribute all their business intelligence information efficiently. REsolve notes that their customers no longer have to resort to cutting, pasting, and collating a variety of data from disparate sources.
First Industrial Realty Trust, a provider of diversified industrial real estate, will be the first REquest customer to take advantage of the new functionality. The company has 95 percent of its data housed in JD Edwards software, so the new REquest functionality is appropriate for enabling the company to better report its accounting and property management data to all employees.
