RISS introduces system to remove contaminants emitted from Chinese drywall

August 31, 2009 RISS Environmental, based in Florida, has developed a process known as the RISS System, which removes contaminants emitted from Chinese drywall.

According to the company, the RISS System is effective in removing from indoor air the sulfur-based contaminants at or below the analytical instrument detection limits, and in many cases below the odor threshold.

The System has been tested by one of the leading independent indoor air quality testing laboratories in the U.S. The performance has been documented by the reduction of the multiple harmful inorganic and organic sulfur based contaminants being emitted for the Chinese Drywall to levels at or below analytical detection limits.
