October 12, 2007—Following its latest global analysis of corporate sustainability leadership, the SAM Group announced the results of the 2007 annual review for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI).
At the opening of equity markets on September 24, 2007, 42 companies joined the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), while 33 firms dropped out. The pan-European Dow Jones STOXX Sustainability Index (DJSI STOXX) added 17 new companies, with 22 firms falling out. The Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI North America) added 17 companies, with 9 companies leaving.
