School Security Solutions offers free trial program for school lobby electronic security system

May 27, 2002—School Security Solutions, a division of C2T2 Educational Systems, is offering a 30-day trial program that allows any U.S. school to try the SchoolLobby Electronic Visitor Management System.

SchoolLobby was customized for the school environment from EasyLobby, which recently won several Security Industry Association awards. SchoolLobby allows schools to use their existing Windows system to track visitors entering and exiting the school, monitor who they visit, and record the reason for their visit. The system creates photo visitor badges in seconds, captures and stores visitor photos, protects valuable visitor information, produces 30 standard visitor reports that can be exported or emailed, and provides a complete package management system.

The SchoolLobby Custom Kiosk includes the tools needed to convert a PC into a complete electronic visitor management system. The kiosk includes the SchoolLobby software on CD in a single install program, a Logitech Webcam, a Corex Cardscan reader, a Dymo 330 desktop label printer, and a platform to hold the system. (Schools may upgrade their system with a barcode/magnetic strip reader.)

The kiosk’s price is a one-time fee, ranging from $3295 to $3800. Multiple building and district-wide discounts are offered. Customer support is free for the first thirty days and is available after that for a nominal fee on either a one-year, three-year, or a per incident basis.

To receive a free thirty-day trial of SchoolLobby, schools can download evaluation software online or call toll-free 866/760-0420 to request an evaluation CD-ROM.
