February 2, 2011—ISIO, the International Security Industry Organization, is calling for all security industry media, exhibitions, conferences and stake holders to join the revolution to bring RFiD (Radio-frequency identification) to the security industry.
This step will initiate security system integrators to be acknowledged as RFiD system integrators, and thus open the doors to a larger portion of the projected $23.6 billion industry, according to ISIO.
RFiD technology must be acknowledged by the security industry as its own “entity,” says the organization. The security industry has acknowledged RFiD Technology as a device of access control.
