Sempra Energy Trading has bought a majority stake of Atlantic Electric and Gas. The purchase was made from current shareholders, M.M.T. Computing plc among them. In the U.S., Sempra Energy Trading is a joint venture partner in Energy America, an energy marketing firm that sells natural gas and electricity in six states. Atlantic Electric and Gas, an energy marketing company headquartered in England, will start selling electricity and natural gas to households and small businesses throughout England and Wales.
