June 1, 2005—Sentry Technology Corporation announced the successful launch on May 23 of the Sentry Vision integrated security management software at the International Fire and Security Exhibition Conference (IFSEC) in Birmingham, UK, in cooperation with Intrepid Security, Sentry’s UK dealer.
The software runs on the SentryVision’s Video Server platform and offers users control, integration, and management of security systems remotely via the Internet. Features include: view and control of both the company’s SmartTrack traveling camera system and conventional CCTV equipment; two-way voice communication; integration with access control and burglar alarm systems; remote operation of lighting; and Digital Video Recording.
Sentry Technology Corporation designs, manufactures, sells, and installs a complete line of Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro-Magnetic (EM) EAS systems and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) solutions.
