November 19, 2007—The Sustainable Business Institute has awarded Shaw Industries, Inc., a leading carpet manufacturer, with its Seal of Sustainability. In its effort to implement equitable worldwide sustainable practices, SBI presents the Seal of Sustainability as a means to honor businesses and leaders committed to sustainable business practices. The Seal was awarded to Shaw on Capitol Hill in October.
