February 2, 2026 — Corradi USA has unveiled the Zenith Retractable Screen, a high-performance motorized product designed for large outdoor spaces consistently exposed to the elements, both commercial and residential.
The Zenith is a next-generation edition of the motorized screen, designed and manufactured in the U.S. and engineered to accommodate openings of a max 23 ft. width and 10 ft. drop. It is engineered to handle enhanced wind resistance up to 75 mph and has seamless design integration capabilities, available in nine standard colors and compatible with Corradi’s current fabric collection as well as new high-performance fabric options. This allows patrons to enjoy all an outdoor experience has to offer with a highly technical, high-style added protection from the elements that can come with it.
Constructed from aluminum and made to measure, Zenith supports both wall- and ceiling-mounted applications. Stability and performance were priority when under development, with a reinforced cassette engineered for larger roll tubes and paired with a redesigned bottom bar that is 1.5 times heavier than previous iterations. This minimizes deflection and maintains consistent fabric tension. The endcaps lock securely into the guide system while reinforcing the internal aluminum profile for added stability. Sealed ball-bearing idlers replace standard endpin designs, delivering quieter operation and increased durability over time. Together, these refinements ensure consistent performance across larger dimensions and extended-use cycles.
At the core of Zenith is a newly developed spring and track system, enhancing the capabilities of Japan’s ShyZip technology, Corradi being the first to introduce this to the U.S. It combines the strength of aluminum with low-friction polymer components for smooth, quiet operation. Hidden, patented click-in springs enhance durability and wind resistance while preserving a clean, architectural profile. A proprietary roll tube design allows fabric to slide in and click into place, creating a flatter, more taut finish across larger spans.
The entire system is powered by a Somfy Maestria RTS motor and features Connect & Go technology, a proprietary plug-and-play connector that eliminates the need to run wiring through the headbox — streamlining installation while supporting long-term serviceability.
