Sieste sleep sofa for hospitality and healthcare fields garners a NeoCon Gold Award for Brayton

July 5, 2002—Brayton describes its new Sieste as simplicity in action as a 3-seat sofa converts to a full-size bed with the flip of a lightweight cushion (no mechanism). The user can then sleep on a surface different from the one in which they were seated. Available in three different sizes to fit a variety of environments with a 76″, 80″ and 84″ sleep surface, Sieste provides the flexibility needed for healthcare and hospitality applications. Custom lengths are available. Arm or armless versions have visible or hidden wood legs in 20 standard finishes. A storage drawer is standard and is neatly placed under the seat cushion.

Designed by Studio B, Sieste features a unibody construction with finger-jointed engineered wood and a 4″ thick high-density foam sleep surface for comfort and stability. Sieste received a Gold Award in The Best of NeoCon competition held in June at the Merchandise Mart, Chicago.
