October 1, 2025 — AGF Manufacturing is said to have revolutionized the fire sprinkler industry with the Model 1000 TESTanDRAIN single valve inspector’s test, eliminating the time and space-consuming traditional loop assembly. Since then, TESTanDRAIN valves have been installed on many fire protection systems throughout the world. TESTanDRAIN valves are now made in more styles, sizes, and orifice options than any other valve on the market today, notes AGF.

AGF’s TESTanDRAIN valves are UL Certified and FM Approved, as well as invented, designed, engineered, cast, assembled, and 100% tested in the USA.

TESTanDRAIN with pressure relief

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requires pressure relief valves on all wet fire sprinkler systems. TESTanDRAIN valves with PRV kits meet code requirements and come in various configurations for any installation. Models 2511 with Pressure Relief A Kit or Pressure Relief T Kit offer maximum flexibility with an alternative handle location that allows multi-directional installation.

All models are UL Certified, FM Approved, and made in the USA. TESTanDRAIN Model 2511 with PRV A Kit is now available in 1″, 1.25″, and 2″ grooved connections.

TESTanDRAIN without pressure relief

AGF designed the first single-handle ball to replaced the traditional loop assemblies with 17 connections. The lightweight and compact design are an industry standard and are available in numerous sizes, connections, and orifices. Models 1000 and 2500 offer a port to connect and pressure relief valve drain, but this model does not include a pressure relief valve. If port is not utilized, it should be plugged with a 1/2″ brass plug.
