June 19, 2002—The slim-line Slalom Partition System consists of multiple panels spanning between aluminum uprights for dividing and defining space, providing visual separations for privacy and security areas, and defining traffic flow patterns. Introduced by Peter Pepper Products in its Merchandise Mart showroom, Chicago, during NeoCon, Slalom is quick and easy to install with standard models in 49-in. and 72-in. heights, and widths from 42-in. to 164-in. Add-on panels can be used to increase lengths in various configurations, such as curves, straight runs, and corner partitions with up to four 90-degree panels per upright. Panel selections are flexible fireproof PVC, micro-perforated sheet metal, and maple or cherry fire-rated wood laminate finishes. Uprights are finished in natural anodized aluminum with 10-in. diameter steel base plates for highly stable yet easily reconfigured system. Accessories include coat hooks that attach to the upright as well as base plates with casters for added mobility. For more information, contact Peter Pepper.
