March 14, 2003—Spacesaver, a manufacturer of high-density mobile storage systems, has announced a new strategic marketing alliance with Delta Designs, providers of museum storage equipment. The partnership enhances Spacesaver’s ability to serve the specialized needs of the museum market in North America.
Although both companies have been serving the museum market for years, the alliance will allow them to blend Delta cabinets with Spacesaver’s mobile storage systems in order to offer space-saving, turnkey storage and protection solutions.
Delta Designs specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of quality museum casework and equipment that meets the highest standards of conservation practice for historical artifacts, art objects, textiles, scientific specimens, and archival materials. Products range from custom-fabricated and standard museum storage cabinets to cantilever textile racks.
Spacesaver manufactures high-density mobile storage and filing systems, as well as steel shelving and related accessories.
