April 24, 2006—Spacesaver Corporation has been awarded renewal of two group purchasing organizations: Amerinet agreement calls for an additional three-year agreement; the Premier agreement is also for three years, according to announcements by Spacesaver, manufacturer of high-density mobile storage systems, steel shelving, and related accessories. A division of KI, Spacesaver is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
Amerinet is a leading group purchasing organization, partnering with all types of healthcare providers to improve their operating margins. The contract offers savings on Spacesaver storage solutions to Amerinet’s more than 33,000 non-acute healthcare members and 1,900 hospitals nationwide.
The Amerinet contract involves storage solutions, including high-density mobile storage systems, steel shelving, and related accessories. Amerinet’s tools include group purchasing, supply chain management, clinical consulting, revenue cycle management, and information and education
Premier is a healthcare alliance owned by more than 200 of the nation’s leading hospital and healthcare systems. These systems operate or are affiliated with nearly 1,500 hospital facilities and thousands of other healthcare sites. The three-year purchasing agreement renewal extends through March 31, 2009.
