Steelcase Inc. has just introduced 32 new aesthetic and functional features for the Montage&#174 systems furniture. In addition to the seven existing tile options, these new design alternatives are intended to visually and functionally enhance the stackable frame and tile system known for its fit and finish. According to Mike Best, director of systems product marketing at Steelcase, “Montage offers the best in design, combined with the best of real world application…These enhanced design and functional options for Montage reflect Steelcase’s continual drive to create more productive—and more beautiful—work environments.”

At a time when attracting and retaining talented and inspired employees is of critical importance to employers, providing a productive workspace that also functions as an aesthetically pleasing environment is even more crucial than ever before. First introduced in 1994, Montage claims to do just that by providing a beautiful and functional office environment that supports people at work. Both flexible and versatile, Montage frames can be configured to create open workspaces for collaborative work or stacked for more private, individualized work areas.

The expanded Montage frame and tile options now offer a variety of fabrics including high-performance acoustical and tackable selections, markerboard, wood, slatwall, glass, painted steel, embossed and perforated steel, and frosted and etched glass patterns. Three new glass patterns, 15 new wood finishes, and a unique line of wood work surface, storage, and pull selections from the company’s Elective Elements&#174 system are also available. Additionally, Montage tiles are interchangeable and can be used in any position on the frame.
