Steelcase has acquired Blumenthal Brothers, Inc., and Laue, Inc., which operates under the name Yves Gonnet. Through the acquisition of Blumenthal, Steelcase expands its wall covering offerings beyond JM Lynnes traditional vinyl and textiles to include Blumenthals environmentally friendly, non-vinyl wall coverings, Duraprene and Inigma. Blumenthal will operate within JM Lynne Co., Inc., a Steelcase subsidiary. Yves Gonnet will become part of DesignTex Fabrics, Inc. also a Steelcase subsidiary.
