August 30, 2002—Steelcase, an international work effectiveness company, was named to BtoB magazine’s 2002 NetMarketing list, an annual ranking of the top 100 business-to-business Web sites in terms of marketing effectiveness, including such criteria as quality of content, design, ease of navigation and e-commerce. Other companies featured in the list include Intel Corporation, Dow Chemical, Honeywell International Inc., Hewlett Packard Co. and Ryder System Inc.
According to BtoB magazine, a monthly publication written for business-to- business marketing professionals, steelcase.com was cited for its ability to offer descriptions and photos of products, provide downloadable software for customers to plan office space and the opportunity to peruse timely case studies that highlight Steelcase’s work with Fortune 500 companies. Steelcase made the top 100 list after a review of more than 800 companies by the magazine’s editorial team.
