SupplyCore receives DOD’s Best Value Award for e-procurement

August 10, 2001—The US Department of Defense has awarded SupplyCore, a provider of procurement technology for commercial and government organizations, the Best Value Silver Medal for exceptional quality and delivery. This is SupplyCore’s third consecutive Silver Medal, for a total of five.

The award is based on the Defense Supply Center Richmond’s (DSCR) scoring system which rates on-time delivery, accuracy of count, and conformance to contract standards which can include marking/packing requirements, automated and electronic requisitions, reporting, certification, and documentation.

The Defense Supply Center Richmond (VA), one of three supply centers in the nation, selected SupplyCore from nearly 5,000 contractors. This is the 11th year DSCR has presented the award. Nationwide, 61 companies were awarded DSCR Silver Medals. SupplyCore scored 99.3 out of a possible 100 points for both its prompt delivery and the high quality of its products. The average score for all defense contractors nationwide was 90.2.
