Talton introduces computer hardware technology that eliminates heat and dust

November 30, 2005—Technology research company Talton Techs (Talton Technologies) has developed a computer hardware technology that makes heat and dust issues obsolete, the company says.

With a prototype ready for viewing, Talton Techs is looking for a technology buyer before beginning its next project. “We want to find the right home for this technology,” said Russ Russell, president of Talton Techs. When mass produced, production costs for the technology will be well under $40 per unit. In addition, the hardware manufacturer utilizing this technology will save on consumer maintenance costs while creating a new revenue stream with an inexpensive consumable module. The ability to produce a retrofit kit for systems already in operation is also possible.

Besides the traditional home and business computer market segments, applications abound in industrial and government sectors where concern for dust and heat create an issue for the operation of computer systems, the company says.

Talton Technologies, located in southwest Washington, is a privately held company focused on the research, development and implementation of new technologies for the electronic and software industries. For more information, visit the Web site.
