September 1, 2008—Target Technologies (TTII) introduces its new colored PermaCoat Naturally Tough Infill, which it describes as safe, clean, and non-toxic under a variety of atmospheric and environmental conditions.
PermaCoat Naturally Tough Infill was created in partnership with the 100-year-old Clifford W. Estes Company, a producer of similar products for over 50 years. It marries high quality infill material granules with a tough ceramic coated finish, creating a superior, value-added infill product, says Target Technologies.
PermaCoat is lead and heavy metals free, and manufactured without noxious solvents or chemicals. After curing, the ceramic coating encapsulates the granules, making PermaCoat Naturally Tough Infill virtually dust-free and water resistant. PermaCoat will withstand extreme temperature conditions, and is fire resistant, the company says.
