January 13, 2006—Technical Concepts, a designer and manufacturer of innovative hygiene solutions for the washroom, has acquired Bentfield International, BV, a Dutch manufacturer specializing in washroom dispensing systems, Technical Concepts has announced.
Located near Amsterdam, Bentfield designs and produces innovative soap and air freshening systems for the OEM market, including foam soap, spray soap and toilet seat cleaners. Combined, the two companies will operate five facilities and have more than 500 associates and 2,000 independent distributor locations worldwide. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
As a global market leader for washroom hygiene, Technical Concepts’ addition of Bentfield’s high-quality soap systems will expand the companys global presence in the away-from-home soap market, the company says.
