Teknion wins top award for Best Showroom at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada

September 26, 2001—Teknion won two Gold awards for its booth at the recent IIDEX/NeoCon Canada held in Toronto. Designed by Burdifilex of Toronto, the 3,6000-square-foot display won the Best of Show Award and a Gold in the 500-square-feet-and-over category. The booth imagined an upscale floor of an office tower, including a reception area, workstations, and a boardroom. The concept showcased xm, Teknion’s new furniture system, in a variety of applications and its ability to work with the firm’s Altos architectural wall system, Halcon boardroom furniture, and a variety of task seating. Teknion’s new Routes access floor provided a white base throughout. The awards were presented by the Interior Designers of Canada and the Merchandise Mart Properties (Canada) Inc.
